Two figures embrace each other meaningfully in this work. The male stands dominantly, grasping the woman’s shoulders, as she looks downward submissively and clasps his waist. Both bring their power to the joining in this intricately executed painting. While the figures look almost like robots, their bodies seem to sensuously merge into each other.
